BARRY DOYLE BAND – IRISH COUNTRY LEGEND

THE BARRY DOYLE BAND ☘️🎶🇮🇪

All the way from the County of Down THE BARRY DOYLE BAND are one of Ireland’s Best Selling recording artists and leading Irish Country stars and will be entertaining us LIVE here at the Brian Boru Irish Club on Sat 27th April. 🇮🇪☘️🎶

Barry Doyle, also known as Farmer Dan, has recorded and released 34 albums and 15 DVDs over the past two decades. A farmer by trade from County Down, he has established his brand as a household name in the live dancing, concert, and recording circles. 💚🇮🇪

He previously toured for 12 years with his five-piece band, during which he became one of Ireland’s best-selling recording artists, and headlined many agricultural festivals, steam fairs, and street fairs with a brnd of comedy, country and craic. 🇮🇪☘️🎶

Joining Barry is Joe Mac, who started out his professional career as lead guitarist and enjoyed many years of touring as part of the Mary Duff Band. Joe introduced the banjo and fiddle to his impressive lineup of instruments as time progressed. ☘️🇮🇪🎶

Both Barry and Joe are hugely accomplished musicians - with Barry on keyboards, bass, drums, synth and vocals and with Joe on lead guitar, pedal steel, banjo and fiddle. 🎶💚☘️🇮🇪

The Brian Boru Committee commented “We’re SO happy to be bringing LIVE Irish show-band music back to the club again.

The support we’ve had recently for acts like The Kilkennys and Dermot Hegarty as well as our regular Irish Trad sessions and Ceili’s and our regular Live Sunday acts just shows they’re is still a really appetite for great Irish music.

And with the great Declan Nerney and Pat Jordan due at the club soon too, we’re just kicking off what is going to be a great year of LIVE music here at the club through the year “ 💚🎶☘️🇮🇪

We have a busy programme ahead of us for 2024 – for dates and further information please visit our Facebook page or call into the club.

Tickets for the show on Sat 27th April must be purchased in advance, and are priced at £12 and can be purchased behind the bar at the club.
