SJoin us for An Lá Gaeilge, a vibrant celebration of the Irish language and culture at the Brian Boru Irish Club! Whether you’re a total beginner or a fluent speaker, young or old, there’s something for everyone – with a full day of learning, fun, and community spirit.
This special event is proudly supported by the Brian Boru Irish Club and the Irish Democratic League, and we’re delighted to welcome visiting tutors from the Manchester Irish Language Group, who will be leading engaging language workshops throughout the day.

Irish Language Workshops – Morning & Early Afternoon
10:00am – 2:30pm
A series of Irish language workshops for total beginners and upwards will run across the morning and into the early afternoon, led by our visiting tutors from Manchester.
The sessions will be delivered in a relaxed, informal setting – perfect for anyone looking to start or reconnect with the Irish language.

Afternoon Session – Family Fun & Culture

A fun-filled afternoon of games and cultural activities for children, celebrating Irish traditions and language in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
