Our Ancestory Research Group programme has been a resounding success and is becoming hugely popular with 3 new enquiries just last Wednesday, 2 more booked in Monday and 3 more next Wednesday.
With pasisonate guided support from Maxine, our Cultural Devlopment Officer she has so far commenced 15 Family Trees, one of which was for two sisters and another for a family of 3 Sisters so with all the new enquiries last week and those due next week, she'll have helped 23 families research their heritage.
Remember, even if you only have very limited information, with a little investigation and guidance it is always possible to perhaps find out some history, see example below:
"I started the tree of one of the new ladies. She was really amazed I found the maiden name of her great grandmother born in Ireland in 1855 She had no idea at all who she was , but her mother was on a census in England in 1881 visiting her daughter and son in law. So we also now know the married name of her Irish Great Great Grandmother probably born around 1830. She was amazed and ever so thankful"
Places are getting booked up in advance, so to start your ancestory journey with Maxine, be sure to get in touch either here, direct message or you can email Maxine direct at cdo@brianboruclub.com
